Dear Colleagues,

To promote synergy between the collective strengths of CUHK and CUHK(SZ) colleagues in the spirit of 'One Brand, Two Campuses’, the ‘1+1+1 CUHK-CUHK(SZ)-Guangdong Science and Technology Department Joint Collaboration Fund’ supports collaborative projects between the two campuses. The three parties will jointly invest a total of HK$90 million over the three-year period from 2024 to 2026.

The fund focuses on research, platform development and young scholar projects that contribute to innovation and technological development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

To introduce you to this fund in more detail, you are cordially invited to a Town Hall Meeting with the following details:

The meeting will be co-hosted by the Co-chairmen of the Management Committee of the fund - Prof. Cai Xiaoqiang, Associate Vice President (Education and CUHK Affairs) of CUHK (SZ) and myself. We will introduce the joint fund to you and welcome your questions. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about the funding details and discuss potential research synergies.

Transportation:
On-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternatively, participants can take school bus routes No. 4 and 8 to the venue.  The bus runs every 20 minutes.
