Dear Colleagues,

To promote synergy between the collective strengths of CUHK and CUHK(SZ) colleagues in the spirit of 'One Brand, Two Campuses’, the ‘1+1+1 CUHK-CUHK(SZ)- Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province (GDST) Joint Collaboration Fund’ supports collaborative projects between the two campuses. The three parties will jointly invest a total of RMB90 million over the three-year period from 2024 to 2026.

The fund focuses on general R&D projects, platform development, and young scholar projects that contribute to innovation and technological development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

To introduce you to this fund in more detail, you are cordially invited to a Town Hall Meeting with the following details:

The meeting will be co-hosted by the Co-chairmen of the Management Committee of the fund, Prof. Wai-Yee Chan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor / Vice-President (Strategic Developments) of CUHK, and myself. We will introduce the joint fund to you and welcome your questions. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about the funding details and discuss potential collaborative projects between the two campuses.
